Default Is this Rare??
Hey, i was out farming on the beach in FOW right, and fighting the same old spiders and all that down their.. then BAM a "Shard Wolf" pops up and i have farmed down their quiet alot and neva seen one before and i was like dang whats ganna happen if i kill it lots of shards ganna drop.. but nah no shards just a staff.. but i was just wondering if they are rare and if anyone has got lucky of them or am i just a noob who dont get out often

they show up when you take the quest from the ranger dude at the end of the spider cave, across the lava.

They're like Wurms, they drop shards once every blue moon. Seriously wurms do drop shards.

I've seen wurms drop shards a few times, but never seen shard wolves drop anything but some blue item or gold.

FOW = Fissure of Woe. When your country/nation has Favor of the Gods, you can pay the avatar of Balthazar 1 platinum to enter. You do this at Temple of the Ages (in Prophecies) or Zin Ku Corridor (in Factions).

I think he means the Infernal Wurms in FoW, cuz Wiki says that they do drop shards.
